Close Encounters of the Bird Kind (known in the United States as Close Encounters of The Bird Kind and dubbed in Quebec as Les aventuriers de l'espace) is the third episode of the first season in Canada and the fourteenth episode of the same season in the United States.

George meets a new kid on the block named Becky, and helps a little bird get back to its home.
